Just returned from Obergurgl today after staying there for three days. Travelling from Innsbruck to Obergurgl is like travelling from Islamabad to Nathia Gali (نتھیا گلی). The area is covered with beautiful, green and high mountains.
Obergurgl is a small and beautiful Alpen hill resort of Tirol Austria like Nathia Gali (Murree مری) of Pakistan. It is situated in the southern part of Tirol, about 100km from Innsbruck.
The purpose of this journey was to attend a three days seminars on ‘next generation web‘ where I was one of the 14 presenters. The participants were from different countries including Germany, Austria, China, Russia, Spain, Hungry, Romania and Pakistan. We stayed there at University’s Alpine Research Center that is dedicated for research and sports, and provides facilities for seminars and conferences.
I am not a vegetarian but my stay at Obergurgl made me a vegetarian and vege was special european/continental vege! I would say about the food:
ایک تو سبزی اور اُوپر سے یورپی سبزی ۔ گویا بہت ہی سبزی
Anyway overall it was a good experience.
